Your cabs sits flush in 1" foam inside the case after removing the front solid foam-filled lid, giving a professional on-stage appearance.
Affordable Cases "Live In" style speaker road cases are rolled
in, front lid removed, rear trap door opened, cables plugged in, and 'rock 'n roll ! It's a very quick setup & tear down
on stage, besides giving a very cool organized look. (Larger cabs like
the Ampeg 810 have the wheels placed on the back side for easier
mobility. Just flip them up after rolling in, then remove the front
lid).
PLUS each "Live In" style case lid is designed to fit on either way. Affordable Cases are professional cases
- you shouldn't have to worry about which way to turn the lid to put it
on, or line up any "dots" or markings that show only one way to put on
the lid. The lid fits on either way - no hassle! Also, the thick
exterior caster board is extended under the front lid to help as a
resting spot for the lid while it's being latched on.
TIP: When you first receive your "Live In" case, it's a fairly
tight fit for the speaker cabinet. First, remove any cabinet casters AND
unscrew the caster plates from the cabinet. Then, the easiest way to
install the cabinet is to lay the cabinet face-down, take off the front
lid of the case, and slip the case over the cabinet. Being a tight fit,
it's much more difficult to push the cabinet into the case
horizontally.
